We appreciate you being here, and we are grateful to be connected to those who choose to be are part of this unique faith community. We hope you take this time of renewal to check in with yourself, your family, and with us about how you wish to be in relationship with the CLF over the next year. Whether this is your first time or your 100th time, you are invited to consider your commitment as a member and steward of the CLF, a Unitarian Universalist congregation without geographic borders.
Why Give?
How Much to Give?
To assist you in determining how much to give, please use the CLF Stewardship Calculator.
We seek to create a safe and welcoming space and operate under the following principles:
RESPECT—Our overarching value is one of respect for self and others as well as for people and ideas we may disagree with. We value the worth and dignity of all people.
TOLERANCE AND APPRECIATION OF DIVERSITY—We operate under a “both/and” rather than an “either/or” philosophy (i.e., we will honor others’ paths and welcome differences.
COMPASSION—Ours is a group with a spirit of caring and support. We encourage and lift one another up—especially in difficult times.
CONFIDENTIALITY—What is shared in a closed group stays in a closed group.
ACCOUNTABILITY—We hold each other accountable to these shared values (lovingly), and in the rare case that a message is offensive or inappropriate (it is okay to say “ouch”), the message will be removed by the moderator.
Let the journey begin!
NOTE: If membership in the CLF is not the right fit for how you envision your relationship with the CLF, you can become a friend instead.
Or, if the time has come to end your relationship with the CLF, you can discontinue membership.
