A World-Wide Journey
Posted by Aisha Hauser on 18 October, 2011
I was born into an observant Muslim family in Alexandria, Egypt. Forty years later I find myself living as a Unitarian Universalist in Cartagena, Colombia. In between the two places I have lived include New York, New Jersey, Egypt, North Dakota, back to New Jersey, Maine and New Hampshire. I considered becoming Catholic, Baha’i, Sufi and an Episcopalian. Finally I chose the one faith that fits who I am and what I want to aspire to: Unitarian Universalism.
